A.I. Formula® is a broad-spectrum combination of vitamin C, quercetin and bromelain, in addition to concentrated extracts of turmeric and ginger. A.I. Formula® provides immune system support and antioxidants to maintain good health. In preclinical studies, vitamin C has been shown to inhibit histamine release and degranulation and mediate the synthesis of prostaglandins that control histamine sensitivity. Vitamin C also improves the proliferation, activation and function of healthy immune cells, as well as interferon levels, antibody responses and thymic hormone secretion. Like quercetin, vitamin C provides antioxidants to maintain good health. Vitamin C serves a particularly important function in providing antioxidant support to phagocytes, lymphocytes, and neutrophils, since it protects these cells from free radical damage that can occur during immune responses.
