- With standardized garlic sulphides and ajoene
Allicillin capsules contain 200 mg of Garlicillin, a blend of garlic oil and parsley oil containing specific levels of garlic sulfides and ajoene, highly bioactive compounds derived from garlic. These capsules offer an enteric coating to reduce the strong garlic odor and belching that can occur when supplementing with garlic. Parsley oil also helps freshen breath naturally. The phytochemistry of garlic is complex, but research shows that garlic's unique organosulfur compounds are responsible for its wide range of health benefits. The best known and most studied of these bioactive compounds is allicin. As it breaks down, allicin is broken down into a variety of organosulfur compounds, including garlic sulfides – diallyl sulfide (DAS), diallyl disulfide (DADS), and diallyl trisulfide (DATS) – and ajoene, such as found in Allicillin capsules.
