Curcum-Evail is a patent-pending, highly bioavailable curcuminoid formula. This product contains a unique combination of three health-promoting bioactive curcuminoids: curcumin, bisdemethoxy curcumin and demethoxy curcumin harmonized with turmeric oil. These three curcuminoids are the most powerful and protective constituents of turmeric root, in addition to being the best studied. Turmeric root powder of natural origin contains only 5 to 7% curcumin while the mixture contained in Curcum-Evail is concentrated at 95% curcuminoids and of which curcumin represents 70%.
The crystal structure of curcumin explains, among other things, its difficult absorption from the gastrointestinal tract. Curcum-Evail is unique in that it has demonstrated successful results in increasing tetrahydrocurcumin as well as curcumin, demethoxy curcumin and bisdemethoxy curcumin in plasma. Tetrahydrocurcumin is a major metabolite derived from curcumin that has shown remarkable antioxidant properties surpassing those of curcumin alone. Compared to some reference products containing equal concentrations of curcuminoids, Curcum-Evail showed significantly higher absorption with plasma tetrahydrocurcumin levels nearly 30 times higher. The amounts of area under the curve (AUC) of the plasma concentrations of the three curcuminoids in this formula were much higher than for the reference products.
