Although normally a commensal inhabitant of the human intestinal and gastrointestinal tract, Escherichia coli is the most common urinary tract pathogen, with excessive proliferation and colonization causing 85% of UTIs.
Cranberry extracts and ᴅ-mannose each independently inhibit one of the two methods of adhesion used by E. coli.
Combined in a synergistic and novel formula, D-Mannose SAP addresses both type 1 adhesion (FimH) and type P fimbrial-mediated adhesion of E. coli to the lining of the urinary tract.
D-Mannose SAP is specifically intended for the treatment and prevention of E. coli urinary infections.
Posologie
xAdults: Take 5 g (approximately 2½ teaspoons) once or twice daily or as directed by your health care practitioner.
