EPA/DHA liquid contains pure microfiltered fish oil concentrate which supports cardiovascular and cognitive health. EPA and DHA from fish oil promote cardiovascular health by helping to reduce serum triglycerides, maintaining healthy blood flow, and supporting healthy platelet function. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study in 223 subjects demonstrated that fish oil supplementation promotes healthy arterial function. EPA/DHA liquid has been tested for the presence of environmental contaminants (heavy metals, PCBs, dioxins and furans) and microbial contaminants as well as signs of oxidation and rancidity. The results obtained were well below the strict limits established for these criteria by the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the European Pharmacopoeia and the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP).
