- Intensive probiotic therapy without allergens (based on science)
Probiotics are beneficial bacteria normally found in a healthy gastrointestinal system. For digestive disorders – which can range from bloating and indigestion to conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and inflammatory bowel disease – probiotics can often help reduce or eliminate symptoms by restoring a healthy balance.
Different strains of bacteria perform several functions in the intestinal tract, including inhibiting pathogenic bacteria, improving digestion, reducing inflammation, and stimulating gastrointestinal immunity through increased secretion of IgA and mucin.
A higher concentration of probiotics is particularly beneficial to help restore balance to the intestinal tract after taking an antibiotic, for conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, or during periods of gastrointestinal distress.
