Strontium is an important mineral for bone health and is found in most calcium-containing foods.
Although supplements like calcium, vitamin D, and vitamin K maintain bone health and conventional bone health medications reduce bone breakdown, strontium actually helps rebuild bones. It does this by increasing osteoblast production while decreasing osteoclast production, leading to increased bone development and decreased bone loss.
